As Managing Director of IdFabric Tanzania Limited, I am proud to reflect on our remarkable journey over the past four years and share some of the exciting progress we’ve made, particularly in the green sector. When we started in 2020, we were a small team of dedicated individuals passionate about sustainability, innovation, and impact. Today, we have grown into a family of over 45 skilled technicians, engineers, and creative minds, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in sustainable construction and manufacturing in Tanzania and beyond.
Pioneers in WPC Manufacturing in East Africa
One of our proudest achievements is becoming the only company in East Africa manufacturing Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) at world-class standards. Using recycled High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), we are not only creating products that are durable, aesthetic, and versatile but also actively reducing plastic waste, contributing to a circular economy. Our WPC solutions have already become key in several building and landscaping projects across the region, and we are excited to continue scaling this innovation.
Transforming the Container Construction Space
The market for container conversions was once filled with substandard products, but we saw an opportunity to bring a new level of excellence to this space. We’ve developed bespoke shipping container conversion solutions that meet both luxury and functional needs. Whether it’s turning a container into a high-end office space, eco-friendly housing, or sustainable retail outlets, our solutions demonstrate that sustainable building can be beautiful, functional, and affordable.
